Maybe it doesn't count those who have been banned. I don't believe those "members" names show in the list.

The newest member at this writing is VisualEvolution.
The total Members listed above him is 3989, but click on Visual's name and look at the top of the web address and you will see that they are member #3994. The difference I believe are the banned members. Not counting the SPAMers.

Im getting the word out. I have two chevyHHR.net stickers on my HHR. One on each side rear window.

Numbers are issued in sequential order. Not all issued numbers 'follow through' in the registration process.

I'm guessing most of them are spammers who joined to post. Only way it would make sense.

Otherwise, I agree. The number doesn't really matter. We went through a similar discussion at 1000 and 2000.

I'm guessing this would be the actual members since it's coming from the Members List. Think of all the spammers who join to post. Each of them are probably banned.

What's impressive is the number of people who've joined in the past year. I'm 1594 and joined in Jul 06. Now we're at 4,000! Glad to see the word is getting out on the HHR and on this website.

I find this HHR Network very useful and full of information.
Great to see the HHRs are building in number.

I'm doing my share of advertising. While on my way to Sanibel, had a white semi custom HHR following me for quite a few dozen miles.
Also was parked right out side the front door of a very popular restaurant while in Captiva...............The Mucky Duck.

Jeff, I should have an '08 2LT in Feb sometime. I'll be Official then, think I know them pretty good from headlights to the exhaust tip.

Wheelie and I are doing our share of advertising too, and It is working!!!!...I have found out that 2 people that go to my church has each bought a HHR, both of them grey in color, I have gone to them and congratulated them on their AWESOME purchase!:cool: these HHR's exclude the one that the founder of my church has, He has a white one, and I've parked next to his at times...SWEET Ride!:D

So....put in 2 more people owning an HHR, oh, and I have mentioned this site to them, they will be visiting, they told me that..so..WHOOOO!!!, we are on our way!!:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

It depends on what number you use to get 5,000, this debate has been going on for awhile there are three different numbers. The first is member user id number I used the newest member tony326 his link for profile is http://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/member.php?u=5008 5008 is the member user id number. Top of pic is saying tony326 is 5002 on bottom it says there is only 4413.

Do we really have over 5000? can you actually count the people that joined and never made a post, isn't that like inviting people to a party and they say they will show up but never do! I went through the members list the past few days (I was bored and had nothing to do but waste some of my remaining minutes of my life) and counted 2153 (+_ a couple) that never made a single post. Then there are the ones who only made 1 or 2 posts and most likely went on their marry way never to be heard from again. Actually active members-------not many.

Some people just browse around. You can tell their last activity if you check their profile. Of course there are members that may no longer be active, but they are still members ;) Don't forget the more members we get the more likely vendors are to support our site.
