Just bought an HHR LT. The CD player stays on after parking, shutting off the engine, and removing the key. ?????? Any comments appreciated....

The CD player or radio will stay on for 10 minutes after the key is removed, or until the drivers door is opened..... And by the way :welcome: and enjoy your :hhr:

It's supposed to do that till you open the drivers' side door. Otherwise, it will shut off after a pre-determinded amount of time.

Welcome Batfink! What they said is true. 10 minutes or opening the driver's door and it will turn off.

I know the feeling of 10 years. It's been that long for me to. I sat there with manual in hand not wanting to touch anything until I read about it. I love mine (Victory Red '06 Spring Edition) I say "It's mine turn now. Now that I can afford it" lol. Jackie
