Is this a lot of miles for an 06' Anyone else have this many or more?

Actually at 25080 as of bed time.

We plan on putting on seven times that , though how long the four banger engine will last, and other moving parts like wheel bearings, cv joints, etc is unknown. I guess we'll know in time, eh?

Yea I will prolly have my car till it falls apart haha. I love it tho, runs great looks great...couldnt ask for anything more :thumb:

I know what you mean. Every day I get a smile just looking at the lines and knowing its functionality. A real winner, Chevy!:thumb: , But we know that here in this forum, don't we :lol:

I so kno what you mean. After a hard day at work or after I clean it, I could jus sit and look at it for hours on end. lol my friends think im crazy! But hey I like my car and I love spending forever cleaning it.

Wow! I have never put that much mileage on a car in such a short period of time. I used to average 12000 per year. Of course now that I'm retired, it's even less. I just turned 9000 miles on my HHR in.....17 months. At this rate it just may outlast me! :lol:

Yea im 20 years old and I drive everywhere. Since my car has alot of room my friends and I always take my car everywhere.

That's not a sad day...

There is one HHR in here that hat already hit 80K if I recall correctly. A few are in the 30's and 40's also.

I used to put 25K a year on my Corvairs when I was in my twenties, say twenty years back! These days between two cars we average thirtyfive thousand /YR.
I did put fifty K on my Taurus SHO one year, but otherwise usually stay around fifteen to twenty K annually.

These days the Corvairs are ragtops for summer use only so they get around eight hundred to two thousand miles per year. I have finally admitted that they are getting a little rare for daily use. Now THAT my friends is a sad day.!:p:

I have around 27k on mine, Feb 06 is when I got it

ok good now I dont feel like im putting alot of miles on it.

I've had my HHR for exactly 2 months and just clicked over 4200. I expect to hit 25000 within the first year. Sure hope she can handle it.

BTW...nice Corvair! I had a '64 Monza back in the day and my family collectively had four Corvair's around that time. Damn that Ralph Nader for unfairly crucifying one of the best cars to ever roll out of Detroit.

I bought mine on MArch 28, 2006 and the odometer currently is at 43,000 and change !!! Drive it until the wheels fall off...then buy more wheels !!!

Got mine on Jan 06, and only have 25,5xx miles. You are not doing too bad. This is my daily driver but only commute 200 miles a week.

Bought mine Sept. 1, coming up on 19000 miles.

I've had my wheels (05 Matrix) since June 2005 and have just over 64K on it....Nice to see some HHRs that put on the kind on miles that I do if not more! Any issues besides rotors Rudy?

There's a guy who used to post here who bought his in January of 06 and he's up to if not already exceeded 75,000 miles. :eek: The only problem he has had with his HHR is a bad battery (bad cell) and nothing else. Also...his factory tires lasted for 68,000 miles. :smile:

Note about mileage on "Smoke" who I have had since 1/2/06. Mileage is sitting at 6630 as we speak...and I should hit the dreaded 6666 some time tomorrow. :eek: Yes...I will take a picture. :lol:

The 100K was hit November 2005, by someone on another forum, their company had a fleet of hhrs around Flagstaff. Now they would love to have the hhr panel.

Here is what he said in Oct 05..

my hhr is a fleet car, im a courier, and part of my pay is that i get to use the car as much as I want, but i'll be hiting a 100000 miles in my hrr around november..

I just rolled over 32,000 last night. I only put 18k on the first year, but since I got my new job I've put on 13,000 miles since December. Fortunately, my tidy monthly mileage check pretty much makes my car payment for me.

got mine the tail end of august and i just turned over 15k

After I get mine I will be doing 32-35K a year...easy

I only mad eit 13500 so far, and thats with two trips from NE to PA last yr, and one this yr! But I am on a Veterans Disability so don't travel much. But loved the gas milage I got on the trips! and the comfort of the ride. When home, I even have room for both my Bernese Mountain Dogs.

I have seen one here in town that had about 60000 on it. I think the lady drove until she decided she did not care for it, or had much use for it,not sure which. But then her hubby owns a used car lot.

My 2006 just turned over 41,000 miles this week. In my defense, it had 28k when I bought it at the end of November and I have a long commute to work.

Now THAT is depressing.
