I saw this HHR today and gave the owner an invite to the site along with a ChevyHHR.net card.

I haven't seen this type of graphics on the fenders before. It had chrome molding all around. The fender graphics looked to be vinyl.

I know these type of modifications aren't for everyone but we don't know how something will look unless someone does it and we decide if it's for our HHR or not. I hope this owner will join us as it was obvious to me he was into making his HHR lookin good.

Those would match up with the Captn's hood. Interesting..

That stuff wasen't my style either. The owner likes it and thats all that really matters.

I posted it for the "what if I did this.... how might it look?" factor.

Just took another look...

HHR doesn't have Assist Steps. Wonder if he/she did this to prevent sandblasting to the rear fender and decided to balance the look by also doing the front.

I'd probably take another "route"....but if it makes the owner happy.

it would look better if the HHR was black, with the Carbon Fiber... just my 2cents tho

If you notice the cover is only on the outside portion, not the forward portion on the fender. That's the part that gets damaged.
