2toneHHR 05-25-2007, 08:46 AM Just getting a quick hello out there. I got my car about a month ago and got it painted after it was about 2 weeks old. So if you see me around the detroit area, give a wave.
I need to add some pics of the car to my photo area and get used to this forum.

HillsdaleHHR 05-25-2007, 08:23 PM Kinda reminds me of the photoshop I did on Sindy's Casper:

I would love to go, but I will be on the third coast that weekend.
HonestBlues 05-28-2007, 10:56 PM :welcome: and I hope my girlfriend doesn't see your beautiful color choice, she loves that color. She collects old '50s Pyrex Fire King bowls and stuff that exact color.
mitzkity 05-28-2007, 11:04 PM HAHAHA - we built a car washing stool this weekend just for fun (and stability) and it's almost that color. I love that coooool sea foam color - saw this car on the forum somewhere and wondered whose it was. Now I know. If I get an old Chevy truck to redo someday, it will be aqua blue/green.
So what else is in the works for your car? Are you satisfied yet? I know someone who does great headrest custom embroidery.

2toneHHR 05-29-2007, 11:41 AM Thank you everyone for all of the welcome messages.
As for if I am done with the car, I think that answer is always a no. I will probably break in the engine and then start with some of the more normal additions including a new exhaust and looking for a little performance here and there.
The color is actually '54 Chevy surf green. It was tough to decide on what color scheme I wanted and I spent a bunch of time in photoshop mocking up different cut lines and colors. I i finished with this design I knew it was what I planned to do.
Now it is time to look at how I am going to carry my mountain bike. Roof rack or Hitch?
solman98 05-29-2007, 12:16 PM Nice color combo.:thumb:
BluetoothManiac 07-03-2007, 03:03 PM I might actually see you around, seeing as how i am not to far from you
