Guess it depends on when and where. We are leaving for DC in June I think from the 18th-29th, so we will be busy getting ready for that

if you're looking for cooler weather down south we could always cruise Mt Lemmon again...

Otherwise, what is there out east? Never been out there. Maybe Canyon Lake??? something to take a dip and cool off??

Ok so.. we want pie on Mt Lemmon but what about lunch? Same thing? Same place? Or just pie? Last time we arrived and it was Oktoberfest. Are you talking about the antique mall? We're over on E. Cactus Rd, one mile from the 51. We usually take the 51 when we head south, can we meet at Super Kmart on Cactus and the 51, or somewhere further south after the 51 meets up with 10?

Even if I will not be going might I suggest IKEA as a meeting point again :smile: that seemed to work last time we went done south.

I believe the exit for IKEA is Warner.. pretty sure of it.

Those of us coming from north should be at IKEA by 08:00ish in order to be in Tucson by 09:30 - 10:00.... in case we hit traffic.

Ok so some info for the 23rd.

Tucson is closing I-10 for a widening project for 3 or so years. SO there is a small stretch of highway where we will have to jump along the frontage roads. No biggie. Then back to the highway and on out to Houghton and up the Moutain.

And it looks like not just a couple guys from here are going. So far our list from the car club here is:: Richie/Kat, Juan, Rey, Greg/Melody, Robert, and Josh. We're not sure if more are showing up or not. So we should have a decent sized group! Tucson is so boring we'll take any excuse to meet with car people and go for a cruise! :D

Sorry, I only took one. And, only of the HHR's at the first "rest stop" up the mountain. Sometimes I wonder why I carry a camera....I hardly ever use it.

Nice pic Snoopy!!! I'm the same as you. May have a camera with me but rarely take pics. I spent some time in Europe during High School and hardly took any pictures. I wanted to experience the sites not take pictures :lol:. So I ended up buying lots of postcards :D

Yeah, we are both the same when it comes to cameras. As a request for Christmas, I even purchased a new camera for the wife (so, we BOTH have one)a dedicated photo printer, and a new HP computer with photo "crunching" software. It's hardly ever used. Don't know why I treat her so well;) :smile:
