Seems there is enough interest in a Frankenmuth Meet to warrant its own thread. No, I'm not volunteering to organize this one :p: but I will try to show up . So throw your ideas out and let the planning begin.

The new indoor waterpark is pretty cool up there. My kids like to make pretzels there too. I would definately show up if I wasn't working. HHR's and greasy chicken should go together right??

Hey, depending on the date, this AZ cowboy could probably make it. I haven't had Frankenmuth chicken in over 20 years.

Maybe end of August beginning of Sept.

I'll be leaving for Ft Wayne, IN on July 22nd for the wifes family reunion. Then we're just going to "cruise" for about a month or so....nice being retired.

Really!! I lived in Fort Wayne for over 14 years. Maybe if I have some free time we can meet up even if we don't have the Frankenmuth Meet. I'm only 75 miles from the Fort :thumb:

I'm not thinking. Someone else can take this one's wheel. I'll attend if able :D

Bump to see if there is more interest this year. We were thinking Oct. 4th, 2008. Maybe stay overnight at the waterpark.

Weekend rates on the hotels are outrageous. They are almost 3x more than a weekday.

i would be totally up for it if it coincided with one of my trips to michigan which as it looks now it probably only going to be for thanksgiving and christmas time.

My parents live about 45 minutes away. Every year we'd go around the holidays for the whole christmas shebang. I DON'T recommend going near thanksgiving. we did that last year since it was the only time we could go, the saturday after and it was insane. I don't even know where we parked for bronner's but swear i walked about 3/4 of a mile to get there in their parking lots.

Best thing now though is if i go with the family the ladies all go to bronners and the guys go across the street to the black forest brewery and have a few beers. So if you guys go, enjoy a beer and take a growler home for me.
