Hello everyone, sorry I didn't post this sooner but here it is. Some people are getting a car show together on August 18th at the racetrack in Temple. So here is the thread that I've written for the other sites. Also another update, the corvette club of san antonio is probably gonna go. So if you got any questions send me an email.

I know this is a long time from now still but... people on jbody.org are gonna get a big Texas GM small car show going on the 18th. Its gonna be held at the racetrack in Temple. Here is a list of stuff thats going on.

street, mild, and wild best j-body= 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
street, mild, and wild best delta body= 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
9 vehicles are required for each class, if the minimum is not meet for each class then there will be a 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall j-body, and the same with delta bodies. I'm sure we will meet the minimum amount.

prices:
$10 for show(must pre-register)
$10 to race(pay at gate)
and $5 for spectators(pay at gate of course)

***PRE-REGISTRATION INFO***
Pre-registration is needed to show your car in the show, THERE WILL BE NO REGISTRATION AT THE GATE. The only way pre-registration is refundable is if the show is canceled due to rain or some other reason. If you don't show it is not refundable so make sure you are serious about showing before you mail. Also pre-registration must be turned in by August 1st.

on both paypal and mail, leave your info full name, address, phone number, email, year make and model of your vehicle, and what you THINK your vehicles class is(street, mild, or wild) and the city you represent.

food vendors will be there. I'm trying to tell the people that are preparing everything to talk to Super Street, Chevy performance magazine, and others to see if they would be interested in getting some reporters out to the show.

So now I say this to yall at first it was only gonna be a J-body show only, but I pursuaded them to include deltas. I want yall to show your support for the delta bodies and show that we own the streets lol.

a couple of other updates I forgot to mention:
alcholic beverages are allowed at the track as long as its not in bottles.
ummm... and thats it everything stands oh and audio contest is 20 bucks to sign up.

Also caravans are forming for DFW area, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. I'll get emails from the guys forming the caravans and post them on here so you can get in touch with them about meeting up.

oh another thing, August 18th is my birthday so it would be one kick ass b-day party for me lol. Lots of cars, racing, food, and friends!!!! So get you ass out here!!!

Just a friendly reminder, you have only 1 week from today to send in your 10 and registration sheet to the address stated in the first post. After that you can only pay to get in to spectate($5) or to race($10) at the gate. I hope to see alot of people out there!!!

Heres a little food for thought to persuade yall to go. We have confirmed 50+ vehicles have already paid for entry on the car show. Majority are j-bodies, and a handful of deltas. So in other words 50+ people are gonna attend so you don't have to worry about going and only having 10 people show up.

Today was the last day to send in for your registration to enter into the car show. Now that doesn't mean you can't go. You can pay at the gate to race($10) or spectate($5). Come on yall know yall wanna go. GOOD FRIENDS, NICE CARS, AND GOOD TIMES!!!

just got off the phone with a high chance of a sponsorship for the show next year. he said he will send me some stuff for this year.

i just talked to tom and it looks like CED(crate engine depot) MIGHT do something with us at the show for a raffle this year. if everything looks good for this year he said he would see about coming down here next year for the event, and who knows what he might do for us?!?!

so please guys/gals we need a good showing at this event to attract sponsors.

I forget the exact address but I'll post it for you when I find it. Be there by 10:30. We are all transforming and rolling out around 11am as a HUGE caravan to Temple.

lol that transformers phrase has caught on strong over on the j-org site lol. I originally thought of that phrase when I noticed all the centexjs had lambo doors lol. They just look like transformers lol.
