WOW! - When did all that happen? So many mods, I guess I was just caught up looking at the flames and didn't notice?

The color matching is incredible --- did you remove that black thing on the front or paint it? And, the bumpers front and back don't look stock - what's so different?

Well, I'm flloored - it def. has it's own look and if the flames didn't look so cool and strong, I'd have to say Bob seems to have a shy little smile on his face.

This has been going on since may of last year so much of it happened before you joined.

The black thing is gone, mainly becuase the whole bumper is gone. :D Custom front and rear bumper and cowl hood. The car is actually about 10" shorter now.

Went to a car show this week-end so i've been away a couple days.

Kinda strange judging at the show; no 1st, 2nd or 3rd place, just three "winners" per class. Very nice medals were given out though. They did have special awards for Best of Show, Best Paint, ect.......

Bob won a medal and one of the special awards. There were seven HHR's entered. Only one though I'd never seen here on the forum. All looked very nice.

How did you remove the two small pieces on the steering wheel in order to paint them red and orange?

there are two holes on the back of the steering wheel slide an allen wrench into these holes to relaese each side of the horn.

Bob goes everywhere! Even taking our new puppy to Petsmart.;)

Got the AC stickers at The Filling Station. They're kinda hard to see since the tint on the rear windows is so dark. You have to almost be looking for them to see them. In over a year only two people have noticed them.

I had to promise that except for tinting the fromts, I'll keep it stock. :( But as some of the long-time members here remember, I said the same thing about Bob way back when.:D

Congrats Mike, sweet ride, I really like the paint. I have had a flamer myself, It was your typical flame job, going from silver to blue, magenta etc. But I really like how you start out with the red, and incorpate the flames a little farther back on the car! I was looking for something different. Kinda old school/new school mix.

So we went with the old school flame outline with a silver pinstipe just inside of it and then the realistic flames coming off of the outline.

I wish the pics did it justice.
