View Full Version : For CourthouseDeb, & 06
Black Beauty 07-26-2007, 03:15 PM Saw these two at the dealer, I know the CHD likes Dale Jr. so I got a couple for her...:thumb:
And `06 could`ve gotten this Cobalt S/S instead of that 'other' car.:D
courthousedeb 07-26-2007, 08:50 PM courthousedeb is a Tony Stewart aka "Smoke" fan. But thank for thinking of me anyway...I do like Dale Jr as well. Here's some pics I did take of a Tony Stewart Edition Monte Carlo.

longhorn 07-26-2007, 09:36 PM I know someone who owns a tony stewart edition monte carlo. Even had Smoke himself autograph the dash and the supercharger cover. I have pics around somewhere of tony signing it
captain howdy 07-26-2007, 09:40 PM That Tony Stewart Monte is hot if you take off all the NASCAR crap. Now that makes me want to trade in my HHR.
Black Beauty 07-26-2007, 09:51 PM Deb, I knew you were a "SMOKE" fan, I am too, but I always think of you when I see something about JR. Don`t know why.
Saw this a DUB CITY.
courthousedeb 07-26-2007, 10:25 PM I am hoping that some day Tony will be in town again for an autograph session...or I can go somewhere that he might be doing one. I'm sure he'd be happy to autograph my "Smoke" for me. That would definitely be one of the coolest mods I would ever get for my HHR. :D
BB...you probably think of me any time you see something NASCAR...most of the people I know are like that. Had dinner with a guy who used to live in the apartment building where I used to work last night. He knows what a big fan I am, and he ran across a NASCAR book, so he picked it up and gave it to me at dinner last night.

Black Beauty 07-27-2007, 07:24 AM No, just when I see something about Dale Jr. (coincidently, that`s my middle name... Dale, not Jr. )
When I think of NASCAR in general, I think of that "No Good Jeff Gordon", I think Mrs. B/B, er, Mrs. S/S, would marry him if she could... I hate that guy.
Just joking...:D
courthousedeb 07-27-2007, 08:16 AM Gotcha BB...and I used to feel the same way about Jeff Gordon. Although ever since he split from that no good Brooke, he's really seemed to mellow out and I have a much higher tolerance.
Please pray for me though...Henry's brother is supposed to be coming by for the race on Sunday and he's a die hard Gordon fan who doesn't like Tony. Sure could make for an interesting day considering those facts and the fact that my boyfriend is a Jimmie Johnson fan. Guess I'll have to put a hex on those two so Tony can win another Brickyard race. Just kidding folks. ;)

Don't put the hex on Gordon, I have him starting for my fantasy team this week  All kidding aside, I'm a Tony Stewart fan also and was so happy to see Tony climbing the fence in Chicago. That Tony Stewart edition Monte is HOT!
cpendlay 07-27-2007, 11:45 AM I think a lot of people get mixed up and think when someone likes DJ (Dale Jarrett) that they are talking about Dale Jr.
I like both of them, actually I like way more drivers than I dislike anymore. When JG first came on the scene I was a fan, I think mostly because it was fun to watch him try to power slide the corners like on a dirt track. Even though he isn't my favorite anymore I do have to admire his talent for driving just about anything.
courthousedeb 07-27-2007, 11:24 PM I agree cpendlay...DJ has been my driver of choice since 1997...but he's on a downward spiral now unfortunately becuase of the equipment he's been in the past 3 or 4 years. I haven't given up on him, just added a 2nd driver and that was Tony's rookie year in 1999. After riding in a cup car at 180mph I certainly have alot more insight into what these guys do, and can appreciate each and every one of them even more than I did before. ;)
cpendlay 07-28-2007, 01:21 PM I haven't given up on DJ completely either, I really like him. He's had some tough breaks and of course age gets us all eventually, I do think he is a great announcer and will probably do that full time once he retires. I haven't had the opportunity of a ride but I would have loved to, now I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to get in the car...lol...age has caught up with me too. I started following DJ when he was subbing for Irvan in the 28 car having been an EI fan and continued after he got his own Yates ride.
