Click here to see the install guide (http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/Adobe/CV-72-05-L.pdf)

Its a Vehicle Specific Mount. Part #CV-72-05-L (its made for the chevy Equinox but its very compatabile with the HHR.

I used SoCal's Radio Removal Guide to assist. You do not have to use take the whole radio out, just unscrew the radio out a bit, however then you place the mount in between the holes. The link above with SoCal's how to remove the radio guide should be very useful. Here are some Radom Shots.

All you need is to order the pro-fit mount. You can connect the mount that the Sirius gave. I used the middle bolt on the radio. I'm proballry going to move it up to the top right. I barley have people in the car with me. So for now its good

That's pretty cool how you got the sound going through the HHR Sound. :)

Hey SIHHR I got a mount at Best buy the other day, not profit, Worked out pretty good.
I was going to put mine on the top screw as well, but the bracket was blocking the slot for the tab :( , so I had use the middle. Does the profit have this problem? Anywho...thanks for the idea
...now if i could only find a spot for ant. where it will work and not be seen.

You would be in need of serious help if you need to find a place to mount a Nano!

The holder would dwarf the Nano.

For the Nano I would use one of the cup holders that they sell

What is the mount designed for? I just got my GPS, and it looks like it would be a great place to mount it. Is the mount bendable?

I have an ipod nano in my HHR. What I did was take a very, very small sqaure of velcro and mounted to the back of ipod and the other half to the console to the right of the floor shifter (mine is auto trans). I then ran the wire discretely along the passanger side of the console holding the wire in place by wrapping a thin strip of velcro around the wire and the other half to the side of the console. Right where the wire comes out of the stereo, I folded the wire and used a wire tie to get the wire to have a "memory" so it would not stick out and hang down. This works very well, no drilling or other modifications anywhere. It's easy to remove the ipod and is basically unnoticed and easy to reach. If you needed to remove the small piece of velcro, just pull it off and wipe off any residue from the sticky side with cleaner such as 409. Good Luck!

I got on eBay and found a Griffin TuneFlex for $5. I already had the 6ft audio cable that I just coiled up around the tuneflex arm for a nice clean and functional ipod charger mount in my HHR.

Heres mine. Just picked up a cell phone holder and used the screw for the CD player to hold it in place. Works good and looks alright.

This is AWESOME. I had no idea how the PSP worked...I thought it was for gaming and movies only...my GF bought one when they first came out...so I asked her about it.

she said "no, it does movies, music, videos, photos...everything"

so I walked it out to my car, plugged it in, and shazaam.

I am going to swipe it from her, put a larger memory stick in, load my music and photos, and give her back my Ipod nano.

thanks.

I wanted to install my XM Radio and following your advice, headed down to Circuit City and the installation center. They were closing out some brackets. Not Profit; maybe Bracketron? Any way, they were $3.50!! So, the installer had an HHR in the back and he let me try a few until I found one that fit. Bracket is in place with one screw and some trim mounting tape under the molding. Quite solid.

Here is my effort:
