New Colors for 2008!
My Chevy Rep called me today and tould me that He had a 2008 HHR Brochure for me on hold to take home and look at. I just went and got it and Yes there is an SS pic in it, when you flip to the back to see option on each model the SS is not listed at all. I went ahead and took pics page by page of the new Brochure so you can take a look to... Enjoy! :thumb:

Okay here is the frist page it has a Sunburst Orange HHR with Chevy Accessories 17" Slipt wheels. This Brochure is real small If you want bigger pics let me know its lonly like 11" Long and 7" Wide! Real Small! :lol:

thanks Guys, this is not OLD who here has seen the whole 2008 Brochure I know that most on here Have seen the HHR SS pic thats in it but nothing else, and maybe the 2 toned panel but this gives you a look at the Whole thing not just one picture! lol

Are there any pictures of the "Blue Flash" color? It's tough to make out which is which on the exterior colors page. Is it on there?

the blue flash looks darker than my Electric blue, I held the little color chip up to my car and its darker, I also went to the Chevy Dealership and held the NEw Dark gray up to an old grey and its alot darker!

well since last I checked my closest chevy dealer had not gotten the brochure in yet, so this is news to me... I gave him my number to call me and he hasn't called yet. Knowing salesmen he prolly has 'em in and lost my number...:rolleyes:

I just picked up one at my local dealer, Vallenti Chevrolet in Mystic , CT.
The brochure was not out, but the sales guys are cool and went out to get me one. They figure the SS will not hit their place until late winter. Time will tell....

Nice small brochure this year. I find it more informative than the previous two years versions. Maybe Chevy is going to learn to market this car yet.

They had their first panel in. A low end plain grey one. No excitement from me when I saw it. Dunno, I guess grey and no bells and whistles with the 2.2 bores me. My seven year old daughter caught on right away since she had seen a pic on line and I had explained the panel concept to her.


Right next to it was the silly , but nice looking '07 Regency HHR. They've had it for months since its price is stupid for a 1LT. No fog lights, small engine, not the best platform for adding cool paint and bling to.

It has been there over eight months now.... Call them up and low ball them , maybe they'll let it go...They are asking $28K

The dealers told me no one takes the plunge on it because it is a low end model done up and not the high end model done up.

I like the stock grille. I think Chevy got it right. I can understand everyone wanting to customize their HHR with different grilles just to be different. That's cool.

But I'll stick stock on that ..for now. Heck I like it enough to buy an extra. I'll keep my eyes out here for the next one being sold off by someone.

It is really sharp. It's starts out as sunburst orange and gets more golden as it works its way down.

They do this same scheme with a few different colors.

I wish i could have held out for the SS but i love mine anyway. i'm sure they will make a kit that you can convert your average to Awesome! hook it up!

Just looking forward to perhaps a rear disc kit for our older HHRs. Might be tricky with the ABS, but maybe not.

you can buy the black chrome stuff.. the door handles come in a pack the wheels individualy and the grill and back bar come together i think... BUT the lights and fogs are darker as well so you are talking some serious $$

I am in CA this week on business, and I have a 2008 HHR for a rental car.
It's very similar to my 2007 from what I can see.

I picked up a copy of the new HHR brochure and was interested to see the disclaimer on the page whre they show half the hood in blue and the other half in orange...it says: "Color Combination Not Availaible".

I asked the dealership about the black chrome....$300 CDN for the grille, $307 CDN for door handles
