Bluetooth For Playing Music from iPhone

I have a 2009 HHR SS with Bluetooth. I have my iPhone paired and the call functionality works perfectly. I would also like to play iPhone music through the car audio system via Bluetooth. Other cars I've owned had this capability. Can the HHR do this? If so, I'm not sure how.

Thanks in advance,
M Ridzon

I kind of figured that was the case. I guess an alternative is to plug my phone into the AV jack in the radio face. I'll give that a shot.

Thanks for the info!

I bought a very cheap Bluetooth adaptor {like this one}

G7 Bluetooth Car Kit Handsfree FM Transmitter Radio MP3 Player USB Charger & AUX | eBay

That I plug my phone into to charge it. It also can connect to the phone so I can make calls and hear the music I have stored on it.

It transmits the audio through an FM station on the radio. It works very well for me and has for about 5 years now.

This is what you want. Big as your pinky, plugs directly into the 3.5 aux port, no wires. Works flawlessly, had mine for 5 years but I just broke it.

Problem solved. Solution was right in front of my face. Haha! Just plug my iPhone charger cord into the radio's USB port and off we go! The phone's music is automatically detected by the car radio and charges the phone at the same time. Quick-n-easy fix!
