Connecting Samsung Galaxy s4 to 2009 HHR

Hello,

I am sure this question has been asked before but I can't find anything on the search function.

I have a 2009 HHR LT2, I am trying to get my Samsung Galaxy to connect to the radio via the AUX plug in, but not having any luck.

Anyone else have this issue? Have a solution?

Thanks!

Are you using an audio plug?

That won't work, as per your owners manual.

The AUX plug is an audio plug, it doesn't look or act anything like a USB plug.

I have played MP3 audio from my LG phone on my 2008 & 2011 stock radios using the AUX. In fact, my laptop is semi-permanently attached to the radio to play audio books via MP3 player. That is the most you can expect.

Doing telephony via AUX ain't gonna happen!
