I'm not sure, but its entirely plausible to do. Just requires a 12vdc current that comes on with the ignition. Not sure what to offer you here with options, but I hope that helps some.

There should be an ACC pin that is unused in the fusebox. It only comes on with ignition.

Run the positive side of the power connector to that and the negative could go anywhere that a healthy ground can be obtained. I would use a fuseable link to be safe.

Nope, you can't do it in a panel.

Seriously, I hard wired my first one over 5 years ago. At my age do you expect me to remember how I did it??

I think that the power was picked up at the console fuse point. Let me check in a bit and maybe get back with more precise info.

Look here:

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...entifier=32416

It's on #21 on the console box.

Not going to go into other items wired, but I've got the V1, boost gauge, wideband, meth pump and heat exchanger pump added in various places, but I'm pretty sure the original tap was done for the V1.

BTW, mine is an '06. Things may have changed.

Radar Detector - protection from police radar?
My trap warning is powered by solar Bothar. 1 time per week, charging from the cigarette lighter.

I guess "protection from police" means something different in Russia, even today.

I will not argue
If you have a problem, you have to decide who will solve your problem - the police or the mafia.
Unfortunately, the Mafia is now a champion. Solves the problem of cheap, fast and drastically if you have the right friends.
