I have seen things like this happen at times. try to reset the systems by unhooking the battery for 5 min. some times this works.

try what lucky said but it sounds like it may be a wiring issue

did that didnt work.dealer said he would have to check out ground and sum other things.i was thinking of running a ground off back of radio to a suitable ground?think that mite work?radio has no light or nothing but the fuse sparks a little bit when u pull it and put int back in so it must be getting power?also i did pull radio out and the cooling fan is working when i plug the radio in to harness

If the fan runs then there must be a ground. Sounds like a DOA radio to me. My sports car list has a problem with the radio in our cars if you take the radio out of the car with the battery attached. There is an internal fuse on the circuit board, basically a thin piece of wire, and it blows from the shock of the electrical load it sees when the plug is put into the radio. I wonder if something like this happened when you jump started the car?
