Rear Speakers and Sub Not Working?
My rear speakers and sub are very very quiet unless I turn the stereo wide open and move the fader to the rear with all but 2 notches left. This seems really wrong to me. Anyone have a clue if this is normal or if it sounds like maybe the amp for the rear is not working. Is the amp only attached to the sub, or is it attached to the rear speakers as well. Any advice would be appreciated.

You can hear them barely with the fade all the way in the rear and the volumn turned half way up. So now that this sounds positively fishy, I wonder what the culprit is. It definately sounds like an amp issue. Whether thats internal to the head unit, or external somewhere I dont know. I don't know how the hhr does its stereo equipment.

Put your head down where the speakers are you will hear them. They are in a s--- place. are the speakers in the same place in a panel as a rear seat if so they must be covered up like when I have my rear seat down. like all the time

The amp powers all the speakers I believe. It's located behind the driver side rear panel. You can see part of it if you remove the cover to get to the tail lights. I'd take it to the dealer and see what they will do if you want to keep it stock. Otherwise it's not really worth messing with unless you add you're own amp and speakers.
