for the guys that put a 8,10,12 or what ever in where the old sub was. How did yours fit... is there alot of dep there? Was the custom box made prit easy? Now i dont have the system but i dont see why they can just cut it out and build a box like i had one.

An 8" is all that will fit in the stock sub location. Not much depth there at all, so don't plan on getting any "rattling" bass from anything mounted in that spot. Best bet: buy an aftermarket box like THIS or THIS and just pull it out when you need some cargo room. I have the 2-10" model and it puts out PLENTY of bass with a 300-watt amp running at 2-ohms. I have also carried tons of cargo and never once had to remove it yet.

Hope it helps,

To answer all questions.
No I don't have a spare tire. Took is out long time ago.

Yes its a sealed box. I took out my three 10" subs and put one 12" and a small amp. Wanted it quietier, but It's louder. go figuer

I used truck bed liner spreay that you can get in a can to paint it. that way I can put stuff on it and not scratch it up.Still need to sink the sub in and put a cage on it. Just waiting for my PG sub and amp to get here
