Everything is new so I'm hoping for 40k miles, lower springs, though moderate, will still shorten the life of the shocks, especially a daily driver.
Eibach recommends HD shocks (especially for the back), I guess Bilstein offered HD struts for a short time for the front but no more. I looked for what was available, far as I know, they're the only ones making HD rear shocks for the HHR. And I don't think anyone makes HD struts for us. Thats why I stayed with Oem.

I've run Canucks for five years with KYB shocks and struts, no troubles!
I had Bilsteins on my old 83 S10, they were very good shocks lasted quite awhile!
I took them off an '86 S10 with 65,000 Kim's and drove the wheels off it till I sold it in 1998!
