The rubber has holes through it the bushing must be timed into the correct position so the rubber acts as a pivot point where as the Moog bushing has the ball to pivot on

So the Moog part number RK620897 and RK620898 are the correct full control arm assemblies needed for the hhr? Give a quick copy and paste into Amazon to see them. I have them saved to my shopping list pending an answer. All my bushings are still original after 200K miles and I have noticed fast clunk sounds when backing out of my garage. Also some highway shimmy that may be related to these parts as well. Will one of ye ol experts fact check part numbers and get back to me?

That appears to be the correct part #'s. But, I'm pretty sure those come with the standard rubber bushing and not the improved Problem Solver ones.

Have you looked at the bushings you currently have, to see if they are worn out, or are you just going to replace the lower control arms hoping that they are the problem?

At that mileage I would suspect they are well past their prime, but why not check them out first before laying out some serious $'s?

A visual check, as well as using a large screwdriver/lever to check the movement of the bushing/LCA is not a difficult task.

You're correct George, those have the rubber bushings installed, they are not for an FE5 either!!!

Those in the Summit add are stamped steel and do not have the ball bushings , just good old rubber!

That may not be true. I copied this from the Summit ad description.
(But, they would still be the wrong stamped steel unit )

Not sure if that's the description for the ball joint, rear bushing or both.
