Wrong!!! The early FE1 suspensions have the 23mm bushing same as the FE5 on the SS models.

Well it's fixed and confirmed FE1 on an LT has a 25 mm sway bar up front.
And the next one just might not be the same, but could be.
So far I've not worked on a 2006 or an SS , I've only dealt with 25 mm bars.
Just lucky I guess.

Post #15, yes indicates books are incorrect at most parts palaces, and a great method to measure.
I tried mine , my 1 inch open end wrench fits my sway bar.
My 15/16 did not, so I measured the 15/16, which is just over 23mm.
My 7/8 was just under 23 mm , that's measured with my HF micrometer.

Actually I meant the part agreeing with you. 2006 was a grab bag year.

2006 they were still designing the car during production.

Oh, I concur Don they 06 was an education, also the dreaded oil cooler and it's o-rings issues .
I was just comparing wrenches to offer an alternate method to measure the bar. Compared to the string theory

String theory ? No need to drag Sheldon and the Big Bang Theory show into this thread.

I got lucky with that oil cooler issue; When I first read about it and the 2006 I ran outside and popped my hood to find nothing there; I got the "nearly perfected" model. LOL
