Going thru this bushing problem right now and reading threads. I have a 1''bar and wondering if this would fit from MOOG. It's a 1' kit and they say it doesn't fit. Anybody use Moog bushings? Its only $8.47 0n Amazon

They will fit but you might need to modify the holes in the universal mounting brackets

I have found the stock bushing on e-bay. Was thinking I would get the Moog bushings from Amazon faster with Prime. Just wanted to get them on before a cold snap here in PA.
When you see stock bushings on e-bay for $5.99 free shipping that would be for only one not a pair correct?
Thanks for the list of parts and numbers, will come in handy as I go over 153,000 miles.

MSRP is $5.72 each.
2009 Chevrolet HHR Suspension/Front - GMPartsGiant.com

I just noticed FE5 is 24mm, FE1/FE3 is 25mm. Converting to inches on that small a scale doesn't work real good.

That $9.73 shipping blows.

Think I will go for the stock bushings on e-bay with free shipping. They come from a Chevy Dealer from. VA

That chevy dealer is my local dealer.

my point was to show the MSRP (the crossed out price), you could save time and shipping by sauntering into your local dealer with a printout.

Call local Dealer, none on stock and they are 35 miles away so wasn't going to order.

FE5 sway bar is 23 mm or .905512 of an inch

FE 1 or FE 3 are 25 mm or .984252 of an inch

Most sway bar bushings from the after market like Energy Suspension are 1 inch so some clearance or slop which could cause noise. My ES polyurethane bushings make noise if I don't keep them greased.
