Has anyone done them? Among other things, my two sway bar bushings are shot. Has anyone done them yet, and is this a jackstand fix or just a drive on ramp fix?

A jack stand/blocks works ok - yeah a lot of people have replaced them with Progressive Poly bushings (as did I) - be aware that there are different sizes depending on the model of HHR. Use the search tool as Don suggested for info on replacing them (not that hard a job), and you will find part numbers in the part numbers posting with details on the different sizes.

Not sure what you entered in our Search tool, but "replace sway bar bushings" gave me numerous helpful hits, including part numbers, instructions, tips.

Some people say the cradle has to be dropped - but that is WRONG!!!!! The hardest part was getting the polly bushing open far enough to slip over the bar. :)

Just R&R mine yesterday. You do need jack stands, 10mm deep socket and 15mm wrench to remove rear nut, there is a capture washer on the rear bolt to hold it in place, if you hold the washer and continue turning the bolt CC it will give you enough clearance to remove the nut (tight quarters) and 15mm socket to remove the front bolt, easier to reach from inside the fender well. Also found if you remove the top connection for the sway bar link it allows plenty of movement for the sway bar to R&R the rubber bushing.
