Sway bar bushings.....HELP

What brand Or part number is it for the polyurethane bushings on the front sway bar of an 06 HHR LT 2.4? Shop is willing to replace them for free while they are replacing end links again, under warranty but said no shops show the bushings? Any quick help is greatly appreciated

This was the first thread I located:

You should need 25 mm bushings! The only issue I see is locating them "now" as most are purchased online!

Here's the Manufactuers Site:

My local chevy dealer had them in stock. Got both of them with tax for less than 12 bucks. And the are 25mm, or 1 inch if that is the measurement the manufacturer uses.

The reason they say nobody has them is because they are a generic thing. Just say 25mm sway bar bushing, don't say for an HHR. A GOOD counter man will just say "here you are, gimme $12".

Thanks for the assistance guys. Got them through the local, shop by telling them I needed 25mm bushings........go figure. Unfortunately the rattle/clunk is still there after having the end links and bushings replaced. Back to the drawing board.

Check if your bar is moving side to side. The poly bushings are narrower and allow some movement (at least that was the problem when I took mine off).

I had the "clunk" problem myself and had to take it into the shop 3 times before they got it right. This is what was replaced to fix it. Intermediate shaft, sway bar end links, sway bar bushings, and steering column. I hope you get it sorted out.

The clunking sounds on my 2007 HHR LS were getting pretty bad recently. My son, who is a mechanic, replaced the sway bar end links and the struts and strut mounts two days ago and the vehicle is like new again. My sway bar and control arm bushings were just fine - I have been hearing that these items are responsible for a lot of the noise in the HHR and other GM cars that share the same suspension platform.

I was told that the intermediate steering shaft could stand replacement, but I am going to wait on that.
