All HHR's were made in Mexico!
I'm not sure where the sway end links were made?

Yeah, I was on RockAuto last night perusing what they had available. Within about an hour I had over $700 worth of parts in the cart-all a combo of FE3 and FE5 front end parts along with new springs, struts, and shocks. I believe in doing it all if you're gonna do it. Would really like to go the Koni and Powell springs route but can't find anyone around here willing to do the mods needed.

I figure since the wife loves this 'pork & bean can'(my name for it) then I may as well keep it running well and make it last at least another 70K. I have actually offered to trade it in on a new CR-V and she said no! She loves this thing and I love her so...what else are ya gonna do?

Just did the SS front brake upgrade w/EBC rotors and Greenstuff pads and am waiting patiently for the break-in miles to rack up so I can then exercise the new BFG Comp A/S tires properly.

I have to grudgingly admit-this 'pork & bean can' is actually kinda fun to sling around on a mountain road. Just don't tell the better half I said that...

The links on my 2008 didn't last 70,000 miles.
The links were still good on the 2011 at 240,000.
