Windshield wipers stolen - Vole d'essuie glace

Hi all,

I got up this morning, got outside to scrappe the windshield and Surprise, no more front wipers (original with new blades). What a cheap suckers bum stealer. Come on! Is this a sign of a recession??

Sounds like a kids prank, did any of your neighbors have the same done to their cars?

I agree with Greybeard....EXCEPT, if no other neighbors had the problem, then someone targeted your HHR, because the thief had an HHR that needed wipers.

The only consolation......if your wipers were in bad shape. Then their actions were somewhat futile.

Sorry for YOUR inconvenience

Had that happen back in the early 90's in Harrisburg PA in a hotel parking lot. Just one of those "what the h*ll?" moments in life. Report it to the police if nothing else, and like Snoopy said its an opportunity for new wipers.

Hi everyone,

Update:
I bought 'again' original wiper from dealer (27$/each) and found later, at Walmart, Ultimate X wipers at 18$/each. They look very similar to originals at works great. By the way, HHR use 18'' wipers for windshield.

Regards
