automatic cooling line seals

Has any one changed the seals for the cooling lines on the transmission end? It would be item #4.
I have leaking cooling lines at the steel to rubber crimp and at 220K thought it would be a good idea to change every thing at this time.

I think oldblue replaced his trans cooler lines. I'm sure he will get on here later.

Here is one thread that may help. https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/prob...r-lines-52608/

I was gonna say... I bet they aren't to fond of being removed! Never had to yet. If you dig in, try and get some pics for us!

Good luck

- In all my rebuilding over the summer, I managed to lose Item #7 on Grandmas HHR. Right now the lines are held in place with .030" solid core welding wire. Which works, and doesn't leak but if you could provide a part# for those I'd be much obliged!

Thanks George, for $18 and shipping I think I'll keep my welding wire in there!

Go to NAPA or any other AP store they have sampler packs of those clips for a couple of $. Try the "HELP" section.

Gee, That was fun. The fittings in the radiator were easy. Getting the cooling lines out then back in wasn't too bad. Replacing the trans seals
Now on to the next project.
