Throttle body problem

Guys,

Need help with my chevy 2006 LT Panel.
Got P0121 error few weeks ago, found solution for this problem and decided to fix it by myself.

To clean throttle body assembly I have disconnected it from my car.
After cleaning and installing (and starting engine):
- one or two seconds I have normal RPMs
- few seconds later RPMs are increased greatly till 3.5k (and all this in inactivity state)

Someone told me that I need to "clear state of throttle sensor after re-installing assembly". Is there any way to make this "cleaning" by myself without carrying car to service station?

Thanks

Try disconnecting the negative terminal on the battery for 30 minutes to reset the BCM and ECM. The computer will need to relearn after a few start and drive cycles.

To begin, did you disconnect the electricals before you touched the butterfly?

Disconnecting the negative battery cable should reset the computer, then the throttle position will calibrate itself in about 3 minutes of idling.

P0121 has nothing to do with a dirty TB. It is about electrical connections. Obd-codes.com/p0121

No.
1. turned off engine
2. switched to N position
3. opened lid
4. disconnected air filter assembly
5. disconnected throttle body assembly

Will try to disconnect negative battery cable and let you know if this helps.

I know.
My thoughts were to clear TB sensor. But when I saw dirty in my TB - decided to clean it too.

Check the link, very detailed troubleshooting. Also try http://repairpal.com/obd-ii-code-p0121

Most likely a frayed wire or bad connector. Maybe a bad TB.

Some updates here...

I have made as donbrew said. TB started working correctly in "idle mode".
As soon as I have tried to push accelerate pedal I have got next issues (tried this twice, got different results):

1. Slightly touched accelerate pedal. RPMs was increased till 2500. After dropping pedal RPMs doesn't drop to idle state. After 10 secs or so RPMs dropped to "idle" (~700)
2. Hardly touched accelerate pedal. RPMs was increased till 4000. Got check-engine light on panel. After dropping pedal - same ****. 10 seconds and idle mode. AND car stopped to respond on transmission mode (so on "D" it's not start to move forward slightly, same for "R")

I will try to remove negative cable from battery (to clear ECU from errors) and will try to move car on "D" mode (to check if transmission is still working or not).

Is it looks like bad TB problem?

UPDATE
Tried to turn on engine - got the same issue as before dropping negative cable first time (check-engine light is still on). RPMs on idle mode - 2200-2500 and not dropping at all...
