In the fall I read diff. posts about gas mileage dropping when the cold weather was setting in. A bunch were saying that gas is 'different' in winter or something like that. Well, here are my personal observations after winter 1
with my 2.0 LS. My average mpg went from 7.*L in the fall to 8.4L in winter. I'm sure it's the air/fuel ratio that is affected by the cold weather and it has nothing to do with the composition of the fuel. My mpg is getting better and better as the temps warm up again slowly.
