E85 will get you less MPG but it does deliver more power.. much more power in high HP applications

Very True.

Not enough E85 gas stations around me to make the Switch with the Supercharger install coming up. If all the Shell Stations carried it, I would switch, but I only see a few different stations dotted here and there that have it looking online for stations with E85.

Not worth the effort to run it when you can't just pull into Any station to get it.

Well at least Shell Gas cause thats all I run in Morticia.

I'll continue to run Shell Premium 93 octane as I can get 93 octane just about anywhere around here. Other stations have 93octane in a pinch but I usually fill up with a 1/4 tank left so i'm never in a pinch looking for gas.

LS = 2.2
It's designed to run on 87. You won't see any differance on a higher octain.

Not true for 2009. In 2009 the recommended octane is 91. The reason being, is that these engines can go back and forth from regular gas to E85(hence the flex fuel badges), so they are built with the higher octance requirement in mind.
