2006 HHR.....any problems the first year?
#11
We love our 06. Just passed 80k recently. The only problem we have really had is the recurring problem with warping brake rotors. All is well now with the Viper brakes though. Oh yeah, we had our shifter replaced because that pivot pin kept working loose. Other than that it has been smooth sailing. We thought about trading it and getting another one before the General and the President end them next year but we like this one so much we are afraid to.

Had mine one year
I have had mine for a year. I had to turn the front brake rotors but other than that it has done fine. I tow it behind the motorhome and it tows well. The gas mileage seems a little low for a 3,100 lb car. I get about 22 in and out of town. I get about 25 mph on the road at 70 mph. I have the 2.4 engine.
I have put 8,000 miles on it and it now has 46,00o miles.
The engine seems a little noisy especially when I turn on the A/C. Sorta of a howling noise. I do not know if others have this noise or not.
Good luck.

Thanks ALL!!
I had to have a near new one and I paid for it!!
Actually not a bad deal, was $5k under book, just more than i've ever spent on a vehicle.
Aint she some sweet tho!! and now she has an old fashioned OOGA horn, cuz it's more her style. Next mod will probably be the hoop spoiler for $80, then a set of boards. (from santa)
