Pretty amazing how they design cars to take a blow like that and nobody gets hurt.

Happened 03/01/16.
Was on my way home from work.
Pop the top of a hill and had a pick-up truck coming at me side-ways.
Nothing I could do but "prepare for impact".

HHR stopped at a 30* angle in on-coming lane, about 15 feet from point of impact.
Truck stopped some 30 feet off my side of the road.

Sternum hurts, and I have a good belt burn across my waist.
But I'm OK other wise.

The replacement vehicle is an '08 Chevy TrailBlazer 103,400 miles.
Nice clean ride.
Pick it up tomorrow, did all the running around today to make it so.

Unsure at this time.

I know I was doing 30 climbing the hill. Thinking I had let off the go pedal for the descent before I saw him.

He was sideways already, and coming at me fast.

Have to wait for accident report to see what he had to say.
I really didn't talk to him. But he did come over to ask if I was okay.

Annihilation is the proper spelling but, no matter how you spell it the main thing is that you're okay.....
