Update:

This is the email I sent PT Bob the other day:

Just a heads up:
Seeing that I have had so many problems dealing with you, (along with dozens of other victims) I am going to do these 3 things.

1. file a complaint with the Postal Inspector on everything that I have received that was delivered 30 past the date you charged my credit card.
2. file same complaint with the United States Attorney General
3. file same complaint with the Ca Attorney General

If they need the proof I faxed to my credit card company I will be more than willing to send those same 41 pages of facts.

Yesterday I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge of $727.97.

To save us both time you can refund the $727.97 today to my card. The ball is in your court.

Otherwise I will have no other recourse.

Kathie

and here is his email back:

Hello Kathie,

Everyone has put this back onto my desk since I was the one who made the
package deal.

If you truly disputed this already they say I can not fully resolve this
today. They told me
that when you dispute the amount is taken from the Corp. checking that
day? So we
can not offer a refund since the amount is now not in the account? I did
review all details
and was given an OK to actually go against the company store credit only
policy.

If you truly have disputed and had your amount taken from the Corp
account my hands
are tied. You would need to reverse the disputed amount before I can
release a refund?

Let me know the true status of your efforts. At some point they have
other ways they do this.

Best regards,

Bob Cohen
Boy did his attitude change!

Then yestday he actually called me and said he could do a refund if I called my cc company and retracted the dispute. I told him I would not do that. Butter would not melt in his mouth he was so nice.

When your money is refunded, are you returning the parts back to him?

He sure seems quite a different fellow than what was said above!

I hope all eventually works out. I do like Bob personally.... just not his business practices.

Kathy.....

What Bob told you in regard to not doing the refund is probably true. Once it is disputed to the CC company the monies are placed into "limbo" by them. However, you may be able to discuss this again, with your CC company. .... you know, removed dispute and CA Cruisers issues a credit back to your card THAT SAME DAY.

He did receive the bumpers on the 21st of May.

Yes I knew they put the amount on hold until the dispute has been settled. I could discuss the dispute with my cc company to see if they could hold off IF he refunded the same day if not then they could continue with the dispute. It would make it much easier if he would just refund instead of the time it takes for the cc co to wind up the dispute. Thanks for the suggestion.

With most of this being done via email, they serve as the 'in writing' aspects of disputs/agreements, which holds up very good in the event of having to go to small claims court.
It's good to see when a customer fights back and wins.

I am 56 years old, I have learned not to let people trample all over me.. If they can get away with things they will. I am an honest person and I will not screw someone over, I own my own RV Rental business and would never think of doing something back handed to my customers. They are who makes me money. If you don't treat them right they won't come back. I have had to eat loses just to keep customers.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm sure once in a while problems will come up, I can only speak for myself, and say I never had a problem with my hhr or pt that Ray has done. I don't know any HHR owners personally that went there, but as for pt owners, I know allot that have went there personally and were extremely happy with the service, parts, work, etc. If anyone has a problem with Teazer, contact me & I will see what I can do to help. Known Ray/Crystal for a very long time.

I dunno. The car is seeing strong sales, which the new Thunderbird never did, but it's going to be interesting to see what's in the pipeline for the Delta platform. As long as the car is profitable to build and sell, a blessing that it's assembled in Mexico, then it'll probably stick around. However, if there's no interest in accessories, I think we'll see very little out of the aftermarket other than what can be cross-developed and marketed with the Cobalt/G5/Astra.

I tell you, what we need is Mooneyes to take an interest in the car. They did some cool accessories back in the day for the Caprice and Impala SS when NOBODY else would. It was quality stuff, too.
