Deer vs HHR

This morning...4am...on my way to work...deer comes out of no where...decides to headbutt the side of my HHR then run away. Deer won.
Next stop body shop. Driver's side rear door toast...scrapes and scratches down the side. I never like Bambi the movie either. Doah! Or is it Doe!!

Looks like the feeling is mutual

Nice to see you kept your sense of humour. Good luck with the repairs.

They are all vicious animals. They should all be shot and eaten!

I agree, hunting season should be extended to year-round until the deer population is brought under control and anyone who doesn't like the idea should be forced to risk life, limb and property driving country roads during rutting season. Anyone not familiar with that situation has no idea how bad it's become.

We have a subdivision about 15 miles outside of town with a deer population issue. It's a huge subdivision with big lots and also some open areas. The deer are thriving eating all the stuff in the subdivision. The wildlife people wanted to appoint an official hunter to thin the herd by bow and arrow and only allowed to hunt in the community areas. The animal huggers fought it and got it stopped. Now they have things happening like a mom goes out and opens the door to the minivan and puts the kid in the car seat, goes back and gets the 2nd kid and comes back and finds a deer in the minivan with the first kid.

People just don't get the need for controlling the population when things have affected the natural environment.
