Door lock buttons

Have a new 2009 SS. The only thing I don't like is the location of the door lock buttons on the front door. They are right were I want to put my arm with the windows open. Anyone have a solution? Except for not putting my arm there.......

Tons of folks have chopped them down (including me). Works like a charm.

After you cut them, you most likely won't be able to use your fingers to pull them up, so you need to carry a break out tool in the glove box, just in case you need to get out of the car in a hurry and have no battery power for the electric locks.

I actually left my rears 1/4" higher... just in case of this. Besides seeing as I am never in the back I can't hit my elbows
Cut mine down with a small cut off wheel used a piece of anodized aluminum tubing aka knitting needle and capped it with a piece of plastic... Silicone on the inside

BATMAN- used the pointy end of the needle (hope you don't mind I pilfered your pics... Caped Crusader)
