help with water leak..

help with water leak..

a few weeks back noticed water on passenger floor...dealership found a leak in the door panel and repaired the seal..today..after a nasty downpoor and strong winds..soaked again..and alot of it too!!!thank you vince from sham wow..seems to be running down floorboards to me from the dash..anybody else have this problem????

Common leak locations are the sunroof drain tube (if you have one) or the butyl rubber patch above the heater core. Unfortunately a few owners have had leak problems, so there are other threads here with more details.

I 'thought' they did away with that patch for 08 & newer ?

I know it was revised, not sure exactly what they did with it though.

yesss driver side, no idea where its comming from drips out where the hood release is, I gave up on it. its not the driver door wire harness on mine!!!!

That one sounds like the sunroof drain tube is loose. Do you have a sunroof?

EDIT: I see you dont. In that case I would check the door seal close to the bottom corner of the windshield. Just a guess, but a lot of water goes down the trough on the leading edge of the door.

no sunroof..seems to be at heater box..leak pro coming in tomorrow..gms guy..

well lets see how they did this time..leak pro found another spot by the heater box...i guess one of the seals was kinda "pinched and turned"..kinda same thing as the leak in the door...musta bin siesta time when mine came across the line...
