HHR Exterior colors that are non metalic
Hello, new user here! I spent some time over the last month looking around here and other websites reading up on the HHR.
I'm in the market for a second car and think the HHR is well rounded in that it has good storage, seating for 5, isn't too big, and gets good gas mileage. Oh, and it has a cool retro look.
So, during my recent research, I cant tell online when viewing some HHRs if the paint is metallic or not. Specifically the white and black I cannot tell the difference. Was there a metallic white and black as well as non?
Any help is appreciated.
I'm hoping to find a local, white or black, non metallic paint, that's a half panel.

So now I know the Red and White can have a non metallic paint. For some reason I thought the there was a non metallic black.
I understand the half panel is a commercial line HHR. Or I've been told by someone at the Chevy dealership.
My interest in this trim is one, that has the second row of seats for family use, and two has a panel if I decide to double it up as a business vehicle. The extra space can hold an advertising logo nicely.
The SS HHR looks cool, including a better upholstery style, but I actually prefer the retro front grill on the standard model, and read somewhere that you cannot put the standard 5 bar grill on the SS model.
A full panel would be too dark inside even if seats were added, IMHO.
I'm watching all the car sites and checking dealerships, as the 2011 lease returns have been coming in, and that means latest model year, and low miles. Usually leases are cared for well since they have to return it. I've come across base LS models for around 11K with under 40K miles. That's a good price! But haven't found the right color and or half panel yet.
Thanks for the feedback.
