My mother always told me that if you have nothing nice to say.... So I won't comment. Sincerely, good luck with your Hyundai... Coincedentally, I was looking at Sonatas a few years back and ended up with an HHR SS.

Totally agree with you on this. It seems as if people only talk about the problems and never the good things. I had a 2003 Tiburon GT with the 6 speed and loved the car.

Traded in a 2001 Hyundai for my HHR. Had her over 8 years, only regular maintenance, with the only complaint is the revs were high on the interstate. Running at 4K continuously for hours on end made me a little nervous. Seriously looked at getting a Tuscon prior to the SS being rumored. Good luck if you decide to get it!

wife drove one tonight, a 2012, said it drove well ans was surprised on how roomy the interior was.

Thet're just hitting the lots, so not much out there so it could be a few weeks but pretty much a done deal.

Her HHR is going to go down in value????? Oh man nobody told me that! Is there a car that goes UP in value?

I looked at a Hymundai once about 6 years ago, the dealer told me we had to go in the room with the Video cameras before we could talk $$$.
They only did final price dicussions with video running. I said no thanks and went and bought something else ( I do think this may have been this dealer only, or at least only time I have ever heard of that) Felt weird and little commy too me.

I have never been a haggler on car prices, I go in knowing what I'm willing to spend. If they have the car I want, I let them know give me your best price first, and I'll give you my answer and won't waste yours or my time.

Think I bought my HHR in just an hour or less, and most cars that way.

Before you buy a new Sonata, look up the left pull issue. Lots of vids on Youtube and discussion on Hyundai forums. This issue chased my wife and I away from buying one.
