Question Hhr SS??

Does anyone know if GM is planning on building an HHR SS? Does anybody think it would be a good idea? I think it might sell if they didnt rice it out to much. Maybe a nice 240-250 horse V6 in there. That would be a speedy little car. It is still gusty with the 2.2L 140 horse, how would you like 90-100 more?! Also maybe a dual catback exhaust system, egg-crate grille and some new wheels and interior accents? Give your opinions.

I asked this question on GMI a while back. I don’t think GM has any plans for one. If they did, I think they would have already developed one to hype the base models just like they did with the Cobalt SS

True, but you never know. Maybe they are trying a new approach. That one with the Cobalt may not have turned out how they wanted it, so maybe this time they are doing it a diiferent way. Maybe they wanted to see how well the HHR did in the first few months, then reveal an HHR SS if the sales went well. You never know what GM has up their sleve....

I think they're waiting on the demand to drop a bit before introducing the SS version.

That is a good point, maybe they feared that the reto won’t work for them and didn’t want to invest in a higher end model before they get some actual numbers.

They saw that the retro SSR wasnt exactly selling like they wanted, and didnt want to waste money on another version, that may not even sell. I think it would though, considering that the HHR is selling so good. The uncle got one, our friend is buying one, and my dad will probobly get one. Thats 3 just in the people I know.

I would definantly like to get a little more HP in my 2.4L just for those days when you need to get around those big rigs. I'm sure there will be alot of after market products to sup the HHR.
