Check its service records if available, get a CarFax report on it, and if no "Red Flags" come up...buy it, enjoy it, and to the forum!

My '06 is now showing 307,000 miles and it does a 300+ mile round trip commute five days a week, no problems at all. Just regular maintenance, and a new set of tires every 80,000 miles or so.

welcome to the forum. These things can be habit forming, as you find several of us have more than one.

Did you buy?

Hope you picked the one you really wanted!
I have three. Just this year found an 06 with 54k. Couldn't walk away.
The one I use for work has 555732 miles. So really you can't go wrong, in my opinion.
My wife's has 70 something thousand, still going strong as is my workhorse.
I've had my problems yes, but once figured out it stays on the road. That's what counts.
Keep rolling!
Regards
David Hanna

Love the SS! You just taking baby steps with that one.lol
My yearly mileage is around 110k.
That will rack it up for sure.
Proper maintenance is the key.
If it breaks, fix it.
Drive on.

I just bought my 2006 hhr a couple of months ago
with 182,680 on it and it still runs like new so far
and the interior looks just like it did the day it rolled
off of the assembly line but the body has some small
dents and dings.

The only real problem I've had with it was a couple
of gas leaks in the fuel line had those fixed and the
gas mileage went up a few miles to the gallon was
getting 22-23 around town and now it is up around
28-29 around town.

The only other problem I'm going to have to have
fixed is the CV joint is clicking on the drivers side
so I will have to get that fixed pretty soon and after
that hopefully all will be well with it.
