I too have been seeing the $1.50 prices 'round heah. I can remember buying gas at 16 cents a gallon in '68. Prior to that, in my farm community, none of us had any money, so we would pool our funds. Buy a few gallons of gas, a case of cheap back door beer (underage) and find a wine-o to buy us a gallon of Thunderbird wine (we had to buy him one too). Ah, those were the days......

In Spring Hill/ Tampa Florida area the lowest I saw for regular is $1.64, though my HHR only gets premium so I haven't seen sub $2 per gallon prices in a while

$1.55 a gallon for Regular at the Marathon in Concord just down the road.
