no running lights or tail lights

Have you checked to ensure it is not just the bulbs burnt out? (remembering post about headlights not working, and after many troubleshooting responses, it turned out BOTH bulbs were burnt out).
And check your fuses.
And check your fuses.

your other post says "Can anyone help, no high beams on auto lights or no running tail lights, brake lights yes, no over head sensor light and no console lights are these relay problems or something more??? Happened all at once."
So, do the headlights work or not now? Same question for the console lights and overhead light........
Model and year? If it's under warranty - head to your Dealer!!!

OK, that's a weird problem to say the least.
To second Whopper above, check your fuses, all of them. And then check the underhood fuse box itself, make sure it isn't loose.
Check your battery cables and also have the battery tested if you can....HHR's will do the weirdest things with low battery voltage.

I'm with whooper on this one. The OP has 2 seperate posts about this, with 2 different descriptions of the problem. If he could be a little more specific and give us some more details it would help.
BTW, he is a noobie here. These were his first 2 posts.
