Some really great ideas, keep 'em coming.

IB is monitoring this thread too, and your ideas in post #6 Fox Hat are something to definately look into.

sounds like a good idea, make it a store front and have our own licensed merchandise with HHR and SS logos, but also have links to the stores/manufacturers of performance items. I am sure places like Turbo Tech will provide link help and appreciate the business it helps to provide to them.
Hopefully parts providers will offer up some discounts since their parts will be in one place for us all to look at, not to mention the marketing they would get!

all in all sounds good to me!

I'm in! this promo swag idea is great, just one issue I can see would be the border, customs charges from UPS is very high, $45.00 brokerage fees last shipment, but USPS is fairly reasonable.

^^^^ What he said ^^^^ As long as the quality is there, the items you'll carry will sell. I've seen several boards that have CafePress stores and do well...

Sounds like a good idea but has anyone designed a logo for the site to be put on the apparel?.

Man that T-Shirt idea is fantastic 11BlueJ, just about peed my drawers laughing!

Unfortunately, the Henson Company would sue us silly, and you never mess with Muppets.

They'll send Animal around to break your kneecaps.

I believe this forums very first vendor used cafepress.com for his listing of apparel items and misc. He didn't have much success. Of course, the forum is much larger now.

As I understand the business model.....IB would contract with them for specific items fitting the forums needs. Cafe press will create and inventory those items, so you essentially are dealing with cafe press (notice the link you provided). I'm not "warm and fuzzy" with that. But to each his own.

DO wish you luck however.

Renee and the folks at IB already have a "Beta" version of the store that we're looking at/playing around with.

While there is a logo, it's not look locked in, so if anyone has ideas or design suggestions.....fire away.
