As the "In-house Semi-Retired Attorney", I've found myself looking at the vehicle codes in every state.

And my "being a real downer at times", has saved some folks from Fix It tickets when their modifications get close to the "why is that Officer following me?" stage.

Just trying to keep you from getting stopped by the Detroit P.D. or the MSP in one of their dark blue cruisers with the sign on the hood and the giant Federal Signal "Gumball Machine" on the roof.

I've found out twice in the past 30+ years that Michigan State Police Officers have no sense of humor imperigal, in fact they make Virginia State Troopers look positively jolly in comparison.

And that isn't a knock against the Police, I support Law Enforcement 110%, and our Police Chief is a good friend...has been for ages.

ANY time there's an officer behind me, I go through a mental checklist. No matter how certain I am that I'm not breaking any laws (window tint aside*), I'm still sooo relieved when they finally get off my tail!

*This my first attempt at posting a photo from my phone...hopefully it worked!
