I have slept in mine lots I just always used blankets down and super comfy well not really I was sleeping with my American boxer.. bed hog

sleeping in an HHR

I found I found that if you fold your passenger front seat forward it goes totally flat. This gives you an additional sleeping space where you couldn't use most of the rear part for storage and camping equipment
