Wow! Well, speaking for myself, if i were in your position, i'd stay with the cobalt. A good running car is a godsend to ppl with less recourse for big purchases. I sure did my time in cars far worse than you have.

That car with 100k does have LSD which is nice. Looks to be stock as well. I wasn't exactly thrilled at getting an 08 with ~60k miles, couldn't imagine 103k. But if you can get the price right, I don't see why not.

How many LNF's are in the 100k+ range on stock motor still? Curious if issues like intake valve buildup from GDI motors affects these at all.

I bought this current car with bad credit, actually have a repo on my report still, but should be falling off within this year. I got a high rate as well (16% I think), but with the new job, it's nothing I can't afford and it's good way to get some credit rolling for my next car purchase. I will probably either re-finance for a lower rate in a year or so, or just trade it in on something else. I'm just using this car as a stepping stone.
