@revroy.... nope it is spray on truck bed liner. The factory protection pieces dont cover the whole bumper. So I got creative. Works great.

That's the old "shade tree" fix, been around for years. Before I purchased all the correct reels for air, water, etc. I used those also.

They are now transferred to target anchors/stands for shooting. They're heavy enough to prevent the wind from blowing the target frame over.

Found out how loud an HHR with a broken flex pipe is inside an aircraft hanger, cripes! After being away all week I'd forgotten how utterly obnoxious it is. But a new flex joint was waiting for me when I stumbled in the door tonight, so Monday will see the noisy beast dropped off at the muffler shop.

So sorry to see you took a shot in the rear Twistedtat, I'd get some estimates even if you might be thinking on doing the work yourself. Judging by the way the rear fascia is knocked forward and down, you can almost count on the impact attenuation honeycomb being history.

Aw Snoopy, don't you know that the "old rims as hose reels" deal is a way to keep the memories of cars long gone still alive. The only surviving piece of my Camaro "Tweety Bird" is a Crager SS mag that I've used as an air hose reel for 25 years. The rest of "Tweety" went to the Parking Lot In The Sky when a vicious tree jumped out in front of me.

interesting. I'm trying to decide what to do with mine. I've thought about plastidip, and the bed liner booth but haven't yet done any thing. but must soon before i mess up the paint.

I tried 5 coats of Plastidip, it lasted 2 hours until the first loading event. It scratched just like the paint does.

And it still taunts me, I drive by that leafy assassin twenty plus times a week.
