Made a round trip to Miami today as part of our work with Angel Flight, it was a true "Turn & Burn" as the military pilots say. We landed after a 90 minute flight down, loaded the patient and medical team, and were on the ground again in Charlotte 97 minutes later. All in a day's work when your "office" cruises at 815 km/h.

Then because I was still wired, Paddy got a wash and detail, and I started "Operation De-Crunch" on the '06 by pulling the front fascia. And I got a free Craftsman screwdriver, apparently on one of my daily trips up and down I-85, I ran over the screwdriver, and it bounced up and stabbed itself into the right front fender liner...weird.

Ah okay. I might have to try that now. That would be a good mod just in case of the next time I get locked out.

Sounds like a productive day at the salvage yard, in addition to assorted tools found in junked cars. One Nova yielded two $20 bills, $8.75 in quarters, and a corroded but still loaded 22 caliber automatic.

I kept the money, and turned the gun in at the Police Department.

More sit and wait, in my neighbourhood people seem think shovelling the snow and ice out of the driveway and onto the street is a bright idea! This results in six to ten inch mounds like super speed bumps across the road, very tricky to drive thru as you try and avoid their cars they parked on the street 'cause they couldn't get into their driveways!
Oh well it'll melt in a week or two or three!

Cleaned the snow off the HHR so the wife could go to work - since MY work was cancelled due the the "impending" snow.

Last week, had the airbag harness replaced by the local dealer then drove the HHR straight to my mechanic and he replaced the sway bar end links and sway bar bushing. Ahhh... rides like almost new.

i found a gun one time also and found a box of ammo in a cut out they had made in the heating vents. turned the gun in on one of the programs the police had and got $50.00 for it

Today is nice and sunny , I'm heading over to Niagara Falls NY, for coffee with the boys! I'll take my camera just in case one of them brings his sled!
He has the 1953 Buick full custom built by Sam Barris back in the mid Fifty's and she is a beauty!
Maybe it will inspire Ben to get back to work on our only resident Buick / HHR !
