Did my first oil change on this car. That's 2 for it, 1st by the selling dealer, in 1k miles. What came out looked pretty good, as in not very black, and the drain plug looked brand new. It may be??
Planning on another in 3k miles, or before it gets cold, then I'll settle in to 1 every 5 or 6k miles, or 1 year whichever comes first. Using Mobil 1 High Mileage 5w-30, and AC or Wix filters. AC or Wix air filters every 20k is the plan. Cabin air every 10k, whatever is on sale

Re: changing oil, if you need an Owners Manual check the link in my sig.

And: once you start using "high Mileage" oil you are stuck with it. It expands the seals to stop leaks; if you stop using it the seals shrink and you get oil leaks.

Not a recommended oil, stick with Dexos labelled oil!

Finishing touch today.

Most done this week while I was on my staycation. Added painted mirrors to my LS. Added the upper billet grille. Put the lower on 3 years ago cuz I didn't like the huge opening with unprotected lower radiator. Installed a Cobalt emblem this morning on the grille. I like how the smaller emblem looks. Tired of looking at the messed up original grille emblem. The glue looked like it was letting go underneath the gold.

Nice grille and formal attire!
Today just a cruise down to Lake Erie for a short walk along the lake, Sweetie has progressed to a cane to assist her, a step up from the walker for the last 6 weeks
