CA Blue HHR: Thanks for the link… that's not "retro" enough, it looks more like a planetary rover from a science fiction movie.

I think it would be neat to make replacement fenders, grilles and other body panels that resemble the lines of the nomads.

Grizzly old man: "Happiness is a belt fed weapon and a box car full of ammo." That's great!

You know what this thread has been dancing around - like the emperors new clothes, or the elephant in the room - . the Heritage High Roof does NOT have a damn High Roof. I'm only 183 cm tall (6 foot in the old language) and I brush what little is left of my hair on the roof. And I can't wear my hat in the car. Hurrumph..marketing...grumble...

(When I was a kid in the 60's, if we saw a driver in a hat, we knew instantly they were bad news to be anywhere near)

Gee, I'm 6'5" tall and don't touch the high roof, but wouldn't chop the top 3" like I was originally going to!

I have a '06, I am 6'1" most of the time when I stand up straight. I can sit comfortably in my HHR with my cowboy hat on and not touch the headliner unless I want to.

How are you guys taller than 6ft sitting? Am I doing something wrong seat adjustment wise? Or is it leg to torso proportion? I'm not skinny, but my backside is not THAT big.

I wear 38 34 pants these days, but my wife complains that my pants are high water lately. I used to wear 40 34 but I lost some weight since then.

When I weighed more my wife used to say I was just as tall laying down as standing up.

I never thought I was quite that fat though.

I used to be a big strapping boy. Now I got those scrawny little old man arms, it used to be my arms were as big as my legs are now. With the smaller arm muscles I do not have the strength I used to.

Ah the wonders of being older.

I wonder why a 2005 Focus owner would be joining this forum.
